It broke my heart to lose you As you did not go alone For part of me went with you The day God called you home. Each day is full of memories, Your love is still my guide, And although I cannot see you, You're always at my side. Your golden heart stopped beating, Two hard working hands at rest God broke my heart to prove He only takes the best. Our loving chain is broken And nothing is the same But when God calls for me, We will be together and The chain will link again. Words cannot describe how much I miss you. Henry with his contagious smile and personal greeting will be remembered by us forever. We knew winter was here again when Erika and Henry arrived from Winnipeg with their car loaded with their favorite Canadian/German foods. Think of you often Erika knowing how difficult this year has been for you without Heinz. It's been 10 years since Ted's passing and it still seems like yesterday to me and he's constantly in my thoughts as well. I remember so well the days when we lived next door to each other and were just steps away from a cup of coffee, a friendly chat or one of your delicious meals....how I miss those precious days.
