Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARCELLA DEAN SIMPSON (SPARLING) March 1, 1914 - April 21, 2012 Her three daughters, Maureen Haczkewicz, Myrna Clift, Geri and son-in-law Bill Gawley survive Marcie. She leaves behind a large clan who will miss her. She passed very peacefully with Myrna and Geri by her side. Her parents, husband Tom, sister Lol and other relatives predeceased Marcie. A service will be held at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave., Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Marcie is now Home, safe in the arms of Jesus.

Auntie Marcie was a dear kind soul, who watched over us like our own mother (gave us what for when we needed it too...lol). She welcomed Carol with open arms when she moved to Wpg to be with Bruce, and was always happy to see us when we met for parties at Strauss Place. Bruce has many many fine memories of childhood trips to Laclu together and good times at both cottages. We will miss her greatly, and our prayers go out to you for your loss. We are sorry we cannot be there for the memorial service, but we are in Toronto and won't be home in time. Our love and sympathy go out to you, and we are there in spirit to comfort you.
