Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN MARY BUCHANAN It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Lillian Buchanan, beloved wife of the late Bill Buchanan, on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Lions Prairie Manor. Prayers will be held at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Hillside Cemetery Memorial donations may be made to Lions Prairie Manor, 24 - 9th Street SE, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 3V4, or to Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 114 Countess Ave, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 0T2. So very saddened to hear of Aunt Lillian's passing. She will be fondly remembered as that quiet lady, with a quick smile, who was always so kind and gentle. Memories bounce to childhood visits, to that little home, where laughter and family were the ingredients for a fun day's visit. Aunt Lillian was always the calming influence, regardless of the occasion. Her gentleness is reflected in her legacy, her family.
