Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySYMA (FREIDEN) KATZ Syma passed away peacefully in Chicago on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 two months short of her 100th birthday. Predeceased by her husband Sydney, her parents Riva and Joseph Freiden, and sister Jennie Rich. Survived by her sons, Bob and Barry, their spouses, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sister Edith Landy, and sister-in-law Irma Nepon. She will be fondly remembered by her devoted nieces, nephews, and cousins of the Landy, Rich and Nepon families.
