Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALAN NELSON PHIZACKLEA Peacefully on January 25, 2012, Alan passed away at Kelowna General Hospital, Kelowna, BC with his family by his side. He leaves his wife, Shirley, daughters Sherrill, Dianne (Tony Szturm), Krista, Alanna, grandchildren Jennifer, Sean, Steven and Mark, and his great-granddaughter, Sofie Joy. Alan was born in West Kildonan and was involved with sports at all his schools. He loved hockey and going to Winnipeg Beach where his family had a cottage, and later years enjoyed boating on Lake Winnipeg. He began his career in the brewery industry at Drewery Brewery at 18 years of age as the office boy. He worked at Carling-O'Keefe Brewery in Winnipeg and various cities in Canada. He ended his career at Molson's Brewery as President of Western Canada. A family service will take place at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
