SIR GODWIN NNANNA OGOMS With sadness and sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Sir Godwin Nnanna Ogoms on May 21, 2012 at Concordia Place. He was predeceased by his parents and sisters. Left to mourn him are: his wife Julie, children, Joseph, Bernadette, Ijeoma and Uzochukwu, grandchildren, in-laws, stepbrothers and stepsisters, nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. A memorial service will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on June 9, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place in his home town in Umuowa Orlu, Imo State, Nigeria. Sir Godwin Nnanna Ogoms was known for his generosity and compassion. We thank the staff at Concordia Place, Concordia General Hospital, Access River East, Umunna (Igbo) Cultural Association of Manitoba Inc., Nigerian and African Communities and his many friends in Winnipeg and far.
