Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAMORA IDA SAGE WOOD August 29, 2009 - June 12, 2012 Peacefully on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at the Children's Hospital in Winnipeg; with her grandma by her side, Amora was wrapped in Jesus' arms and left this world to play with angels. On May 21, 2010, Amora entered our hearts and became part of our family. From the moment she entered our lives, she brought joy and happiness to all who had the honour of meeting her, and left footprints in their hearts. Amora enjoyed sitting in the kitchen sink listening to her inspirational songs for children, and dancing and shaking her bum to music she heard on the radio and TV. Watching Stella and Sam, and Max and Ruby was sure to bring about a giggle from Amora, and she would never tire of them. Her sense of humour, and deep hearty laugh, will always be remembered. Left to celebrate Amora's life are Mama and Papa (Gloria and Del Forscutt); Coikie (Uncle Cory) and cousin Jadey; Uncle Trevor, Aunty Gerri, cousins Kaelin and Braden; great-grandpa Jennings; numerous extended family and friends. We'd like to thank Nisichawayasihk Child and Family Services for giving us the opportunity to welcome Amora into our home, our family, and our hearts. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Schroeder and Dr. Cuvelier, Jennie and Debbie, and the very special doctors, nurses, and staff on CK5 and PICU; whose collective love and dedication helped Amora make her special place in this world. We invite you to join us in celebrating Amora's life on Thursday, June 21 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Road United Church, 613 St. Mary's Road. Those we love don't go away, They walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near, Loved, still missed, and always dear.

Amora touched our hearts. We will always remember her beautiful brown eyes and her wonderful infectious laugh. Even though she was here for such a short time she enriched our lives and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. My daughter, Alida was in the hospital with Amora and she will always hold a special place with us. She was blessed to have found you all to take her home and give her the love and hugs she so deserved. Alida shared doctors and the last time we saw Amora - they read books together and looked so happy and well. Alida has a little sister in heaven and we know they will be playing together. We were blessed to meet Amora and her foster Mom at CCMB. We enjoyed many pleasant visits and were always left with a smile on our faces from watching Amora's zest for life!! So sorry to hear that despite all her battles that she was called to heaven so soon in her precious life. We will always remember her bright smile and beautiful hair!
