Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I was sorry to hear of Cousin Barry's passing. I found out through a first cousin on my Mom's side. The last tiI spoke with Cousin Barry was when he called to speak with my Mom, who had been moved to assisted living. We chatted and he sounded really nice, down to earth. I had not seen him since a visit to Winnipeg, a very long time ago when his son Barry was quite young. During my last conversation, Barry shared with me important information regarding our grandfather which I thought was amazing. I am grateful for his call that day. And I say to Barry, many blessings, I will do more research into our common heritage of Grandad. Wish I could have connected with you Barry, more. • The most entertaining teacher of my entire school career. Another day, another story or life experience he would share with the class. I still remember a lot of them to this day and he will always be remembered as my favorite sub. RIP Mr Shtatleman. - Posted by: Jeffery (former student) on: Jun 24, 2012
