ANNE MONICA SMITH Born in Winnipeg February 15, 1935 died June 10, 2012 in Ottawa. Predeceased by parents Ronald C.and Ruth E. and sister Gerry Paskewitz (Gene). Anne Monica is survived by her daughter Kirsten Pauline Sansom of Montreal, brother Paul Smith (Marianne), sister Gail Coyston (Vic) of Winnipeg and Lynne Emeny (Dave) of Headington, Oxfordshire, England and several nieces and nephews. Anne grew up in Winnipeg's West End and attended St. Edwards School, Sacred Heart convent and St. Marys Academy. Anne was employed as a legal secretary in Winnipeg subsequently moving to Montreal. In 1961 she relocated to Vancouver where she resided until her move to Ottawa where she was employed by Revenue Canada and Canada Post. Cremation has taken place and as per Anne's request her ashes have been interred in her mother's grave at Assumption Catholic cemetery in Winnipeg. Anne's family would like to give special thanks to Lorraine and Bill Coveny of Ottawa for their care and concern for Anne during her years in Ottawa.
