WESLEY (WES) FEADER October 19, 1918 July 4, 2012 After a short illness, Wesley (Wes) Woodrow Feader of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at the age of 93 years, surrounded by family. The fourth son of Colin and Edith (nee Binion) Feader, Wes was born on the home farm at Fleming, SK on October 19, 1918. After completing high school, he worked on the family farm. In 1940 Wes enlisted in Royal Canadian Air Force, serving overseas in Squadron 403 as an Armourer. In 1947 he enrolled in a watchmaker's course in Winnipeg. Starting his career in Elkhorn, MB, Wes settled in Melita in 1953 where he established Feader's Jewellery Store. Wes and Mil enjoyed retirement in Melita, then moved to Calgary in 1989. Wes will be remembered for his loving support of family, his kindness to friends, and his great sense of humour. Wes is survived by his daughter Kathy Feader of Winnipeg; stepdaughter Lynda (Terry) O'Connor of Calgary; step-son Barry (Barb) Lindsay of Sherwood Park; sister Mary Osborne of Moosomin, SK; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Belva Connor in 1958; second wife Mildred Lindsay (nee Walker) in 2005; four brothers; and a sister. A Celebration of Wes' Life will be held at McINNIS HOLLOWAY'S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W., Calgary, AB), on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. A Legion Graveside Service will be held in Melita, MB Cemetery.
