JAMES WILLIAM SELLER 1952 - 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James (Jim) William Seller on Sunday, July 8, 2012, at St. Boniface Hospital after a brief, terminal illness. James will forever live in the memories of his wife of 37 years, Dolores Seller; two daughters Lindsey and Sarah; granddaughter Kathleen; mother-in-law Helen de Paiva; as well as many friends and distant family. He was predeceased by his father Victor Seller; mother Marjorie Seller; his trusted companion Sailor; and the little grey master Percy. Jim managed and owned Deer Lodge Automotive Centre for 35 years, was a member of the army reserves, the coast guard, and enjoyed boating with his family and friends at the Redboine Boat Club and at Lake of the Woods. He also enjoyed his time as a long haul truck driver for Reimers, Day and Ross, and Bison Transport. On Saturday, July 14, 2012 Jim's Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrews Anglican Church, 2700 Portage Avenue. Our family would like to thank the kind and caring staff at St. Boniface Hospital for helping James through his final time.

My sister Donna and I are so very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We have great memories going back to teenage years when working at Deer Lodge together before Jim bought the business from our father (who really cared a great deal for Jim). We lost touch leaving Winnipeg but were so happy he found us again years later and were really enjoying filling in the missing years, sadly we did not have enough time. Jim had a great sense of humour, and we will miss that, one thing that always stood out, Jim was so proud of his family. We send you our deepest condolences to you, Dolores and girls, and hope that that your wonderful memories will sustain you in all the days ahead and you will find strength in that and each other. - Posted by: Sharon Christensen () on: Jan 08, 2013

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing- my sincere condolences Dolores and girls. Jim was a good friend when I still lived in Winnipeg and called when he was in Alberta trucking. He promised he would come and visit this summer and I started wondering why I had not heard from him. He had a great heart of gold and such an optimistic way of always looking at life. Safe travels buddy, see you again one day. - Posted by: Nora M. (Friend) on: Aug 13, 2012

Condolences to the family on Jim's passing. I first met Jim in the early 90's and we did business together. Our company provided equipment to Jim for his shop. I always enjoyed Jim and I admired him for his humour and business practise. He had many loyal customers. Sorry to see you go Jim. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Wade Christensen (Business Associate) on: Jul 14, 2012

From the first time we became friends at 13 or 14 years of age we had many experiences over our lifetime. Our friendship continued on through our adult lives, with marriage and raising our families. When my work moved me across the country over 20 years ago, we still kept in touch, especially during the last two years. I will miss our talks about our families, and reminiscing about the good old days. Jim you were always a positive force in my life and I will sadly forever miss you. - Posted by: Gary Hoffman (Lifetime friend) on: Jul 13, 2012
