His children thank him for that decision. Preceded in death by his son, Gregory, parents, Noel and Emilianne, and mother-in-law, Lorna. Survived by his wife, Maureen; children, Wendy-Anne Asplund (Steve), Darren Ritchot (Roxanne), Jocelyn Knoll (Peter), and Terry-Lynne Lastovich (Ken); grandchildren, great- grandchildren; brother, Roger Ritchot (Jackie); sister, Cecile Fortier (Paul); brothers-in-law, Dennis and Terry (Jenny); nieces and nephews, and friends. The family thanks the hospice staff and volunteers from Allina, and Father Duffy whose compassion and prayers comforted the family.
