JAMES HOWARD HOLLEY June 14, 1949 - August 16, 2012 We are saddened to announce that Jim passed away at Victoria Hospice after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 63. Born in North Vancouver, son of Bill and Doreen, he was the third of four children. Jim spent much of his childhood and early adult years in Winnipeg, where he met his wife Jill Dempster. In 1982, Jim and Jill moved to Victoria, BC. From Morocco to Myanmar, Turkey to Thailand - Jim loved to travel with Jill and had recently retired from his career as a bridge construction inspector to pursue this passion. Predeceased by his father Bill and his sister Bev, Jim is survived by his mother, sister and brother, his wife Jill and his two sons Adam (Vanessa) and Ian. A celebration of Jim's life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 2585 Dufferin Avenue, Victoria, BC. Condolences may be offered to the family at adianholley@gmail.com.
