URSULA SCHWINDT Ursula Schwindt (Monz) died at the St. Boniface Hospital August 28, 2012. She was born in Germany on May 2, 1935 and came to Canada as a young bride in 1957 with her husband Herbert. Ursula, fondly known as Uschi, was predeceased by Herb in 2006. She is survived by her children: son Gary (Conny) and daughter Linda. She also leaves three grandchildren Kyle, Kevin and Jenny. She is also survived by numerous relatives in Germany. For many years Ursula struggled with Rheumatoid Arthritis which was very crippling and limited the things that she could do. She complained little about her pain and continued to live an independent life. Prior to these years, she enjoyed fishing at the lake with her husband, playing cards, gardening and taking pride in caring for her home and family. She was well known for her hearty laughter and German accent. While it was cancer that ultimately caused her death, she bravely fought it these past three months. Ursula expressed several times that she received great care while she was on the 7A Wing of the St. Boniface Hospital. Thank you. Ursula's remains will be cremated and at her request there will be no funeral service.
