AUDREY JEAN STEIN (nee MEYER) (MORTON) January 1, 1948 - August 4, 2012 We are sad to announce the passing of our sister Audrey Jean Stein. Audrey is survived by her mother Eleanor, sister Linda Marcelet of Kamloops, BC and brother Don (Lorene) of Surrey, BC, and many special nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bob in July. Audrey was born a New Year's baby in 1948 in Winnipeg and passed away August 4 at Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre. She married Bob on Valentine's Day 2000 and they shared a loving life together in their dream home in Petersfield with their dear cats that they rescued and adored. Audrey was a dedicated volunteer and was always involved in assisting others. She spent many years involved with the Royal Canadian Legion, and Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. Her friends were abundant, true and cherished. Family and friends were her greatest treasure, she always wanted them near. She was a remarkable woman with a warm smile and will be greatly missed. A special thank you goes out to her caregivers and especially her great neighbours in Petersfield. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Selkirk United Church, 202 McLean Ave., Selkirk, MB. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Winnipeg Humane Society.

Will sadly miss the annual treks out to Petersfield for visits to Bob and Audrey's great hospitality. He supplied the Beer and she was a heck of a cook.
