Just learned of Vera's passing. I knew her through my brother Doug, who dated her daughter, Lynnedale, when they were teenagers. Both Vera and Norm treated Doug as a member of the family. When I first met them during this romantic interlude, I was struck by the youthfulness of both Vera and Norm. Vera was like a teenager hiding inside an adult. I never saw her when she wasn't smiling or kidding around. She and Norm were so lively and such well matched companions. A few years ago I had the pleasure of seeing them again when they visited our shared hometown of Winnipeg. They hadn't changed a day! I could hardly believe it. Now that's the way to live life! - Posted by: Andy Stout (old friend by association) on: Dec 11, 2014
