ROBERT J.A. MCCONKEY August 14, 1922 - August 30, 2012 Peacefully and not alone, at the age of 90, Bob passed away at the Victoria Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Roberta in August, 2000. Bob is survived by his companion Laura Charr and her children Joshua, Ginelle and Genadyne, and niece Susan Butler and family. He will be deeply missed. Please don't be sad when you think of me, My life was all I had hoped it would be, If I cross your mind every once in awhile, I hope it's a thought that makes you smile. A heartfelt and personal thanks to the staff and volunteers of the Victoria Hospital for their compassion that gave us all strength to make this difficult journey. A graveside service will be held at Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery, 2373 Main Street, on Thursday, October 4 at 1:00 p.m.
