But it is also one year closer to when we will see you again. You see, when you died, a part of us died too. But in our hearts and in our souls, you have not left us. We are looking forward to the day when we will all be reunited. And then we will be whole again. We miss you more than words can say. Love Mom and Dad.

I think about Evan a lot and it breaks my heart that he is not around. But my memories of Evan are so positive, and always make me smile including guitar hero at family gatherings, him opening Christmas and Birthday gifts, him playing with bugs in Grandma's back yard when he was about 3 years old and of course his laugh and big smile.
