Hey everyone thanks for all the condolences. My grandpa aka murphel or bop was a good grandpa. Fondest memory I had with him was when I was a little kid and it was a hot day and we were in the veranda. Grandpa was laying down and he either had a few two many beers or a good meal, I didn't know. I was bored, grandma was doing somthing Graham was somewhere I couldn't help notice I heard a gurgleing sound and the odd grumble. I said grandpa what's that sound? He said that's my tummy. I could hear the damn plumbing from across the veranda. So I made my way over to investigate the alchemy of indigestion which I never heard of. I pulled up next to boppi and layed my ear on his belly and laughed and laughed. Sounded like a mix between a lava flow and a pop corn machine. I've had greater times with my grandpa but that one seems to stand out the most. Sometimes little things are the most memorable times to hold on to. Don't mind my grammar. - Posted by: Daniel Condly (Grandson) on: Jan 09, 2013

We first met Merle with Louise as our next door neighbour at the lake. Merle was our lake dad - always there to help clean a fish, hang the outhouse door with me, or help supervise a set of creative stairs. Many laughs and good times. Our sincerest sympathies to Louise and all the family - love from Trish, Mark and Ed. - Posted by: Trish Smerchanski (friend) on: Oct 25, 2012
