BARBARA ANN FIELDS (MALOTT) May 13, 1942 October 24, 2012 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt and friend. Barbara is predeceased by her husband Raymond, grandson Bradley Ryan, parents George and Ethel Malott, sisters Jean Lewis, Helen Knott and Nina Ward. She leaves behind her children Faith (Keith), Rob (Joan), Mike (Kim) and her grandchildren Justin, Cory, Randy, Tamara (Kris), Rachel, Mark, Nicole (Corinne), Michelle, Kristyn and six great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother Paul as well as many other family and friends. Barbara valued her Christian faith, she enjoyed a little travelling but most of her days were spent around the home baking, painting, knitting playing on the computer and of course cleaning. Most importantly, her home was always open to visitors and she was very fond of the time that she spent visiting with family and friends. We can replace the tears with a smile knowing that mom is with the Lord and reunited with dad who she missed so much and with family who have passed before her. She was a loving, caring and compassionate person who would always be there to listen and help however needed. She will be greatly missed but she will be in our hearts forever. A small service will be held at Chapel Lawn 4000 Portage Avenue on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba or Canadian Cancer Society.
