SANDRA LORINE GIBSON February 8, 1963 - November 15, 2012 On the morning of Thursday, November 15, 2012, after a courageous three-year battle with ovarian cancer, It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, wife, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, niece and friend, Sandra Lorine. Sandra Lorine left us peacefully in her sleep at St. Boniface Hospital while being watched over by her sister Marcie. Special mementos made by her grandchildren and niece Mary, as well as surrounded by pictures of her cats (the "Kitty Boo Boos"). Cherishing Sandra Lorine's memory are her husband Cameron, daughters Talia and Randi, grandson Conner, granddaughters Keira and Abigail, sister Marcie, brother Kevin, father Ken, stepfather Marty, nephew Michael, nieces Holly and Mary as well as numerous aunts and uncles from Manitoba to British Columbia. Sandra was predeceased by her mother Mary and younger sister Mandy. On February 8, 1963, Sandra Lorine was born at Selkirk Hospital, in Selkirk, MB, and lived not only in Manitoba but also British Columbia throughout the course of her life. Sandra Lori was widely viewed as an expert in Crocheting and was an avid "Handicrafter" in many other areas. Due to her generous nature, she could always be found making something for someone else. In compliance with Sandra's wishes, a family service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at the; "Church of the Rock", 1397 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg, MB 204-261-0070 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friends and well-wishers of Sandra "Lori" and of the family are welcome. • I spent quality time with Sandy and Cam each summer at Brereton Lake. I don't know how she managed to be so strong as I never heard her complain and she always had a smile on her face. She will be missed and my heart goes out to the whole family. I hope you find peace in the fact she no longer feels any pain and comfort in knowing she will live in all our hearts forever. - Posted by: Debby (Cousin to Sandys husband Cam) on: Nov 21, 2012
