MARIE-ANGE LE SAGE It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Marie-Ange Melina Le Sage on Thursday, November 22, 2012, at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 87 years. She is survived by Pete, her husband of 57 years, her children Robert Le Sage and Sandra (Conrad) Ostrowski and grandchildren: Richard, Daniel, Nicholas, Candace, Sasha, Shayne and Devin, as well as her sister Cecile, brother Gedeon, sisters in law Marie-Ange and Thérèse and many nieces and nephews. Marie-Ange worked on Sister's ship on the St. Lawrence River for five years, then was a cashier in Montreal for two years. She met Pete in Atikokan, Ontario, and got married in 1955. They lived in Winnipeg for a year, then built a house on the farm near Rathwell where they lived happily until 2007. Marie-Ange then moved to the Notre Dame Manor where she enjoyed travelling, playing cards, gardening and socializing with her many friends and relatives. Rest in peace, we will always love you. Funeral Services will be held in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Prayers, eulogy and video at 1:30 p.m., Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Léon Mubikayi officiating. A special thank you to Dr. Freed and all the staff who cared for her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Intensive Care Cardiac Sciences Program at the St. Boniface Hospital.
