LABELLE October 17, 1961 October 19, 2012 Memorial Service With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Raymond at the Hamilton General Hospital on Friday, October 19, 2012 at the age of 51. Beloved husband of Susan. Cherished dad of James. Loving son of Eugène and the late Yvette (Filion) Labelle. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Rachelle Edmunds (Scott), Joseph, Paul, Don Irvine (Linda), Terrence Irvine (Joanne), Beth Moody (Robert), and Gwen Webster (Dave). Will be missed by nieces and nephews, Jaqueline (Gérald Sarrasin), Robert, Elizabeth, Terry 2, Wendy, Jason, Adam, Ryan, Keith, Shelagh, and Travis, grand-nephew Phillipe. The funeral services were held at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel, in Hamilton on Tuesday, October 23, 2012. The prayer service was officiated by Father Charles Galea of the Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Parish, Hamilton. He was cremated and later interred on Friday, November 23, 2012, White Chapel Cemetery, 1895 Main Street West in Hamilton. Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the St. Pierre Catholic Church in St-Pierre-Jolys at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Abbé Antoine Vo Van Hoa. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Life's Vision, Unit A, 388 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0C8 would be appreciated by the family.

Even through the distance of time and space there are certain people in life that you recall fondly and Ray was one of those people for me. I always wanted to get in touch with him again after college but until social media happened I didn't know how - only that it came too late for me. Ray, I hope you can read this: you were a fine friend. I'm sorry we couldn't meet again. Maybe some day we will. Rest in peace Ray.
