• I am fortunate to know the Schleining family and their loving daughter Lori is a dear friend. I met Joan a few years ago at a family gathering. Her great love of her family - husband, children and grandchildren was very apparent and so nice to feel first hand. She treated me and my kids like members of the family! I have watched her devoted daughter, husband and family be by her side every day for the past 3 years ... with their love, care and support for their mother and wife. The devotion was amazing and never-ending. I know these years have been tough on them all, but I hope you take comfort in the knowledge that she knew you were there. She would give you little signs to know that too. I am sure she was so thankful to be loved so much by so many. I hope that over the next while you are comforted by each other, family and friends .... and comforted by the peace of knowing she is watching over all of you from above and no longer in physical pain. Lor - You are such a wonderful, amazing, loving and devoted friend and I hope you know and feel how much you were loved and cherished by your dear mother Joan.
