FRANK GALBRAITH SISSONS On Sunday, December 2, 2012, Frank Galbraith Sissons passed away at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 89 years. • My Dad considered Frank one of his great friends and both he and the family farm remained a point that Gordon loved to tell people about. A great man who left a legacy of family that will remember him forever. You must be so grateful for the impact Frank the patriarch and community figure had on a way of life that has seen such change in 89 years, and the grace he accepted the change and the vigour he embraced it with. Portage, Manitoba and Canada have lost a true pioneer and nation builder! Our deepest sympathy to all the Sissons for the loss and our thoughts to you all on the celebration of a life well lived, surrounded by family and good friends. With our greatest admiration! • I recall as if it was yesterday when I met Frank for the first time at our annual local meeting in town with Manitoba Pool Elevators. Frank was an excellent speaker who delivered his message in a very informative way and also listened very intently to the views and concerns of others with great interest. I enjoyed listening and talking with Frank whenever the opportunity was there. We offer our condolences to the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. - Posted by: Ralph Tanchak () on: Dec 05, 2012
