  • My heart goes out to the family and many friends of Debbie. I went to School with Debbie and Cheryl and remember Mrs. Wasney in the Canteen every day for all those years. Debbie was a bright light then and she tapped me on the should in Mexico almost 2 years ago, "HEY BRENDA, REMEMBER ME?"" of course I did right away, she was just as bright then as in school. Debbie will be missed by many and so sorry for the Wasney family - Posted by: Brenda (Rinneberg) Gauthier (High School Friend) on: Dec 07, 2012

  • My heartful condolence to Mike & all the family for your sudden loss. Deb was always so upbeat & life was good. When I heard of her passing - many pictures came to my mind. I can see her by the pool at Lilac Resort the day after the big 50 & then again with her mom sitting at the table for the last big wind up. Life was good but just a bit too short for anyone's liking. Cherish the memories as many of us will do. - Posted by: Debbie Griffiths (Friend of a friend from Lilac) on: Dec 07, 2012

  • 'Mrs. King', as I liked to call you on occasion... though we didn't work together alot we worked for a few years within earshot of one another. It was all enough for me to know that I will miss many things about you: -above all your genuine hearty laugh throughout the day -the conviction of your beliefs -the truth in your rapport with others -the few chats we had about Arizona -and the wisdom of your experience. You cast a tall shadow here, Deb. I was always delighted to lend a hand, whether work-related or not, and I am glad to have known you. Tim - Posted by: Tim Bagshaw (Co-worker) on: Dec 07, 2012

  • Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the Wazney family. Her life was cut too short without notice.
