Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRVIN WEINSTEIN On December 5, 2012 , Irvin Weinstein passed on peacefully in his 79th year. Born in Winnipeg, where he lived most of his life, Irvin spent the last few years in beautiful Vancouver to be close to family. Mourned by his loving wife, Esther, of 55 years, he leaves behind a legacy of adoring children: Donna Kirsh and David Kirsh (Toronto), Lorne and Jill Weinstein (Vancouver), Marcie and Rick Weinstein-Smith (Vancouver) and grandchildren: Erin, Miles, Keara, Marni and Samuel. Also mourning his absence is his dear sister and brother-in-law Shirley and David Grossman (Calgary), and nephew Mardy Grossman and family (Vancouver). Rarely has there been a person less judgmental, more loving, humorous, sensitive, creative, nurturing, caring, and curious than Irv . Donations may be made to Temple Sholom (Vancouver), Louis Brier Foundation, Magen David Adom Canada, or BC SPCA.
