ADELINE KIBSEY (nee WOZNY) June 16, 1936 - January 2, 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Adeline Kibsey (nee Wozny) after a courageous battle with cancer. Adeline passed away peacefully at the age of 76, on January 2, 2013 with her family by her side. Adeline is lovingly remembered and survived by her devoted husband of 57 years Thomas Kibsey, daughters Corrine (Jeff Runquist), Jennifer (Kevin Chudy) and grandchildren Avery, Miller and Amy (Runquist), Jessica and Karisse (Chudy). She is also survived by her siblings Orest (Doreen) Wozny, Marcel (Verna) Wozny, Connie (Bill) Cox, William (Pat) Wozny and numerous adoring nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Paul and Nellie Wozny of Dauphin, Manitoba. Adeline is now in Heaven with Our Lord after a lifetime of loving and caring for her family and friends with her unconditional love. Adeline was born in Pine River, Manitoba and married her soul mate Tom in 1955. Together Tom and Adeline lived in Edmonton, Kelowna and eventually settled back in Winnipeg to be closer to family. Along the way Adeline made many friends who to this day were held near and dear to her heart. Family meant everything to Adeline and her life was complete when she became the proud Grandma of five beautiful grandchildren. We are blessed with wonderful memories that remain, and a little bit of mom will be reflected in each of her grandchildren forever more. The family would like to thank the incredible and compassionate staff at the Health Sciences Centre Rehab Hospital Unit 6 for the care they provided. Funeral Services and viewing will be held at John Black Memorial United Church (898 Henderson Hwy) on Tuesday, January 8. Family viewing at 9:30 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m. and Service at 11:00 a.m. Reception will follow in the church hall, concluded by interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens (4477 Main Street, West St. Paul). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba (120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 4G2) or CancerCare Manitoba.
