KYLE KLIMACK On January 6, 2013, Kyle Klimack, with his family by his side, peacefully passed away at Vancouver Cancer Care Hospital. He leaves to mourn his mother and father, Judy and Ralph, his brothers Kolby (Lolita) and Kevin (Marnie), his niece Mattie, and his nephew Jacob. He will also be missed by his grandmother Mildred Malone, his many friends, and his faithful pal Prince. Following his graduation from Westwood Collegiate, Kyle worked in the hotel industry before moving to Calgary where he worked in advertising prior to joining a large commercial window manufacturer and distributor. He enjoyed his time in Calgary and made many lifelong friends. Prior to his illness, Kyle was transferred to Vancouver where he made a number of friends both locally and abroad. As always, his infectious smile touched everyone he met. Kyle was first diagnosed with cancer over four years ago and fought bravely. At the age of 41, he succumbed to his illness. Kyle had the highest praise for the doctors, and especially the nurses, who attended to his care. The family wish to thank all those that offered their love and support to Kyle throughout his illness. A small service has taken place in Vancouver and a private family service will be planned for the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

I first met Kyle in 2001. Everything that happened with us will always make me think of the movie "Serendipity". Not a day goes by when I don't think of his heart, smile, kind nature, beautiful eyes and his baby fine hair. Amazing life that was cut way too short. But he did a great job with the time he had, touching so many lives. I miss you everyday. - Posted by: Ash (Serendipity) on: Nov 23, 2014

I was drawn to Kyle's attitude and friendliness in the game and we talked not only game issues but about our art and our precious dogs as well. When Quillan's (game name) was mentioned there was without exception a positive statement to follow. To all his family and friends I am so sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Patricia Hazel (Fellow EQ 2 player) on: Jan 18, 2013

I could work my whole life and never be half the man he is. He was..is a dear friend and I will miss him every day. There is not a single person who he met that he did not touch their life in some way. The world is truly a sadder and less happy place without him. :'( - Posted by: Jason Smith <G> (Dear Friend) on: Jan 13, 2013

I never had the privilege of meeting Kyle in person but I feel that I knew him. I'm one of his many friends that also plays the online game he loved. Kyle was very well liked in the game and his passing will leave a void in all of our lives. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with his family. - Posted by: Susan Davidson (Friend) on: Jan 13, 2013

I looked up to him since I was a kid. No matter how bad things got for him, he never got negative for a minute. I can't imagine how much courage it takes for someone to suffer so much and still be so happy. He is as missed as he is loved. I miss you Kyle. - Posted by: John Cavenagh (Cousin) on: Jan 13, 2013
