Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALLAN SHUTE September 24, 1932 - January 12, 2012 In memory of my beloved husband and our father. In our hearts your memory lingers. Every day we miss you and miss the face we loved so dear. Silenced is the voice we all so loved to hear. Grief never ends but it does change, It is a passage, not a place to stay. If we are to value the life that was lived by a loved one, The sense of loss must give way. Love, Dorothy and family

I want to tell the story of Good ol Uncle Al and the Poolplayer he was. I played in a Pool League for many years and I considered myself to be a good player, not great but for sure above average. I had a Pool table in the basement and of course it was obvious that when The Shute's would drop over, Uncle Al and I would shoot a few games. I would term the games as a severe butt kicking, extremely one sided, no contest and so on and so on. Uncle Al was a Player, most likely the best Player I have ever seen play the game. He just had a wicked eye for Pool; no doubt about that. Well it motivated me to practice but I knew that I would never beat him. Oh perhaps 1 in a million and that was my Uncle Al; 1 in a Million. - Posted by: Curtis Lach (Nephew) on: Jul 10, 2014
