BARBARA ANNE MOYER (nee PARTINGTON) March 19, 1931 - January 15, 2013 It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Barbara Moyer, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mom brought love and happiness to her family for whom she was devoted. Thank you for your patience, compassion, loving presence and strength of spirit. Thank you for being a very special part of all our lives. Your memory will linger on in the hearts of those who knew and loved you. Although born in Fort William, Ontario to parents Cecil and Violet Partington, mom grew up in Winnipeg where she spent the majority of her life. She enjoyed music and began singing at a very young age. Her voice was a gift that was enjoyed by many. Mom also loved the theatre, oil painting, writing, the outdoors and most importantly being surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her loving husband Bill November of 1999. Her brothers Robert, George, and Jim (Partington). Those left behind include son Gary Hubka (Elaine) Rick Hubka (Sherry) daughter Jo-Anne Mutimer (Dave) son Jeff Hubka and daughter Cathy Fraser (Michael). Grandchildren Tracy Hubka, Carrie Hubka, Kyle Hubka, Cameron Mutimer, Chris Mutimer, Tina Marasigan, Jesse Hubka, Jamie Hubka, Katie Hubka, Jarid Dutchak, Holly Fraser. Great-grandchildren Noah Marasigan, Jacob Morcilla and Alexa Hubka. Also many friends and neighbours. A celebration of her life will take place in private by family members and close friends. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire donations in Barbara's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
