EMILEE N. CARTER "From life's many beginnings and endings. The joys, adventure, sorrows and the excruciating hard parts of being alive. Joel Carter Born Emilee Naomi Horn in New York on May 9, 1930, died in Winnipeg on January 11, 2013. She was the loving wife of Dr. Stefan A. Carter, mother of her sons Andrew, Joel, mother-in-law of Natalia Dorf, and grandmother of Anouk and Alec Carter-Dorf. All of us, her extended family and many friends will miss her. She was an artist, poet, painter, lover and supporter of many creative art disciplines. Her family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the medical, nursing and support staff of St. Boniface Hospital, the Home Care and Palliative Care Teams of the W.R.H.A., and the staff at the Riverview Palliative Care Unit. There will be no service. If desired, donations may be made in her honour to Winnipeg Harvest.
