Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCECILE WATT (nee DELORME) August 23, 1941 - January 17, 2013 After a courageous battle with heart disease it is with regret that we announce the passing of our beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great-grandmother at the Grace Hospital at the age of 71 years. Cecile will be lovingly missed by her husband Dave of 33 years; daughter Carol and her partner Norm; grandsons Byron and Patrick; granddaughters Nicole and Natalie; great-grandson Anthony; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Dorothy, Viola and Lorraine; brothers Emile and Leo; brother-in-law Frank and Maurice; sister-in-law Linda and Elsie and many more relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son Timothy in 1982; Mother in 1998; and daughter Yvonne in 2007. Cecile was raised in Winnipeg. She loved family, fun, music and cooking her family's favorite dish, goulash. Dancing was also a love of hers. She was a compassionate person always thinking there were people worse off than herself, in spite of her loss and tragedies in life. She had an open heart and an open door for everyone. Cecile went to garage sales to find treasures to give to people in need. Her spirit of giving lives on in all who knew her. On Wednesday, January 23, 2013 Cecile's Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. We thank all the staff at St. Boniface Hospital and Grace Hospital for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Funeral Director, Richard Wojcik of Wojcik's Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, 204-586-8668.

The phone rang at my office and the display said C Watt. I automatically know who it is and was so happy to answer "Hi Mrs. Watt!" Imagine my sorrow and shock when Mr. Watt said she had passed away 2 months prior. I couldn't concentrate on my work after that. I told Mr. Watt I was so sorry and I wanted to cry. I had a customer with me and he said she must have been a wonderful lady. She sure was. Always giving. One time I wasn't feeling well and Mrs. Watt asked if I wanted a tylenol. I said sure like a little girl whose mom was taking care of her. I had it in my mouth and Mrs. Watt shrieked STOP!! and took it out of my mouth in a flash. It was her heart pill! Mr. Watt and I couldn't stop laughing for years after that. Rest in peace, Cecile and may God always protect and comfort our dear Mr. Watt. - Posted by: patricia mason (tax preparer) on: Apr 07, 2013
