Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Although Larry is gone, he will never be forgotten. The past few days have been filled with remembering happy times, and funny escapades. They have also been filled with a lot of tears. I have realized how many more lives he touched that I never knew about. There was never a day that passed without Larry telling me he loved me.....I will have that forever. I miss you Larry. - Posted by: Terri Settle (spouse) on: Jan 30, 2013

  • My heart was so heavy when I got the news that my dad has passed. And although I am still so sad my heart smiles knowing I have an angel looking over my family and me. I'm so sorry that Oliviah will not be able to meet her grandpa Larry but she will most definitely know of one of the few men in my life that mean so much to me. My only wish is that we were closer in person but I know we have a heart to heart connection that will never fade. I will always be your baby girl forever and always and will never forget my daddy. You are my hero, my friend, my dad, and will always have a place in my heart. I love you dad. - Posted by: Sierra (Daughter) on: Jan 25, 2013

  • Dad, I still can't believe you're gone. I just want to say thank you for everything you've done for me in my life and teaching me all the lessons along the way. You truly are the best father a son could ever have. You inspire me to always do what's right, even when nobody is watching. Thank you for helping me become the man I am today. Without your encouragement, I would have never stepped foot in the Air Force's door. I will keep with me all the memories of the ball games, fishing and golfing together. Though it hurts, I can smile knowing you will always be watching over me and will forever be in my heart. I will miss you over the years to come and look forward to seeing you again. I love you very much! - Posted by: Chris Hatten (Son) on: Jan 23, 2013

  • Larry you will be missed. Time goes by so quickly. You my brother are the youngest. No one expects the youngest to go first. Your leaving was a shock. May your family be able to remember the good times and the sorrow they feel now be filled with many happy memories soon. They know you will be watching over them. Love Jim and family - Posted by: James Hatten (Brother) on: Jan 23, 2013
