Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARCLAY RICHARD JOHNSON 1933 - 2013 Barclay passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at the Health Sciences Centre with family by his side. He will be deeply missed by his wife Marilyn Johnson; daughters Kristy and Lisa; son-in-law Glenn; and granddaughter Zoe. Barclay was born in Winnipeg in 1933, to parents Richard and Mamie Johnson. He worked at the CBC as a music librarian and later as a writer, and remained working there until his retirement in 1988. Barclay was passionate about music and was an accomplished tenor saxophone player. He also enjoyed reading, playing piano, gardening, and studying Spanish. Barclay loved going to his weekly Spanish study group and he will surely be missed by all his wonderful friends there. Barclay, you were a loving husband and a supportive and caring father. We will never forget you. Cremation has already taken place. A memorial for Barclay will be held at a later date.
