In all the years I knew Rick I never heard him say a single bad thing about anyone. He was just a real nice person, easygoing and pleasant to talk to always. He loved a good party and I have many fond memories of those parties or concerts attended with those "free" cases of beer when we were younger! I know there will be many others who will miss his smile. My sincere sympathy to all of his family. - Posted by: Dayle (Friend of Rick and the Family) on: Feb 07, 2013

So very sorry to hear of Rick's passing. We were room mates back in the mid 70's. I remember Rick and his Bean Bag chair. He was an easy going guy that was a friend to all. We will miss him at Grand Beach as we had a lot of good times there. My sympathy to his family. - Posted by: Ron Meissner (x room mate and friend) on: Feb 06, 2013

Shocked to read the email I recieved from Rick's brother Bryan informing me of this tragic loss. Rick was always a very open person, with his home, and with his thoughts. He really liked people and being around groups, socializing. I have known him for the past 30 years or so through his brother Bryan and am saddened to hear of his loss. I know he just moved into his new home and was getting settled in, and had retired only a few years ago. My condolences to his entire family and also his cat who will feel his everyday absence strongly. Rick, enjoy life in Heaven as you did on earth, with great passion and surrounded by others. Gone but not forgotten. - Posted by: Tannis Doyle (Friend) on: Feb 03, 2013
