PAULINE LUCY SCOTT 1915 - 2013 We lost our mother on January 19, 2013. She was 97 years of age and was predeceased by our father, William Scott. Pauline leaves behind her three children, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will miss her grace, poise and style. Pauline was born and raised in Toronto. She also lived in Warwick, England as a teenager, and spent her final years in Winnipeg. Thank you to the staff at the Wellington where she lived for so many years after moving to Winnipeg. Many thanks also to the kind and caring staff at Riverview Health Centre, Pauline's final home. Mom so enjoyed the company of her companions and was always ready for a car outing to the park or shopping mall. Not to be forgotten is her love of sweets and the way her face would light up at the sight of a chocolate pudding or brownie. A very big thank you goes out to all those involved in her companion care. Sheree and Brian deserve special mention for their loving kindness and devotion during the last years of our mother's life. Found among the papers in Mom's nightstand was the following, in her own handwriting: Grief never ends but changes. It is a passage not a place to stay. The sense of loss must give way if we are to value the life that was lived. Mom, your life was indeed valued. We will miss you.
