  • I was lucky enough to know Tiny both as a teacher and as a colleague. She was my teacher for the Grades 4, 5 and 6 and later when I returned to Donwood as a young teacher, I was welcomed with a series of pranks as well. I enjoyed being in her class and learned much from her as a colleague as well. My deepest sympathies for your loss. - Posted by: Ingrid White (co-worker, student) on: Feb 25, 2013

  • My thoughts are with you Grant and your family and Blake. I remember your mom so well as she was next to my teaching station at Donwood. She always had a smile and loved to have a good chat. She cared very much for her students and was a great team player. I recently lost my dad (Nov.) but time does have a way of letting you focus on the good memories. My condolences. - Posted by: Judy Rempel (former colleague of Tiny and Grant) on: Feb 25, 2013

  • So sad to hear of Tiny's passing for you and the family, Ross. Her illness was a real tragedy, she was robbed of so much of her life with her family and friends. I have a wealth of wonderful memories of Tiny going way back to school, some hysterical! Like the time at Brereton when we put a garbage can on a rock and covered it with honey and waited inside for the bears with a flashlight. All we got was an angry mountie! Tiny was a very special person who will always live in my memories. My thoughts are with you. - Posted by: Penny Walton (very old friend) on: Feb 23, 2013

  • Tiny was a teacher when I arrived at Donwood in 1986. She was part of the group that that welcomed me to Donwood with a series of pranks. She had a great sense of humour, which I appreciated greatly. My mother suffers a similar affliction to Tiny's, and I am learning about the pain and strain that puts on the family. I know that you will always remember the good times she was part of. My condolences to the family, especially Blake, whom I remember as a student here. - Posted by: Werner epp (Former colleague at Donwood) on: Feb 22, 2013

  • I remember Mrs. Wallace while attending Donwood School back around 1982. I was in grade five at that time. I heard many years ago from another former teacher at Donwood of her illness. Mrs. Wallace was one of many of a group of outstanding, caring, and dedicated teachers from that era at Donwood School. The teachers I'm talking about that may read this, you know who you are! - Posted by: Jeff Thompson (Former Student (Donwood School)) on: Feb 16, 2013
