I miss you so much bruce, you're my best friend and always will be. Why did you leave me? I think about you everyday, I miss talking on the phone with you everyday, asking you how your day was and you asking me how mine was. It's not the same going to the city and knowing I can't sleep at your house anymore because you're gone but you'll forever be in my heart and I'll never forget you. all the memories we've shared together, I'll cherish forever. It's going to be a year pretty soon and It's so hard for me. I love you bruce <3 may you rest in peace - Posted by: ange (niece ) on: Feb 06, 2014

I got to know Bruce over the past few years in my capacity as a Volunteer working with Dialysis patients. I enjoyed my conversations with him, his sense of humour and how he carried himself as a dialysis patient and as a person. He was a truly good man. On one occasion, he told me that he craved for peas in shells but wasn't able to find any in local stores. I happened to be in a store that still had some so I purchased most of what was left and gave it to Bruce. He was so surprised and thankful and enjoyed eating them immensely. We called him the Perchman because he would come into the hospital, usually on his own accord (not Handi-Transit) and placed himself in the same spot on the hospital's main floor and just observed people. He loved people watching. You could always find Bruce there. He was liked by his fellow patients. I will miss Bruce. My sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace.
