ANICIA MARQUEZ It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Anicia Marquez on March 14, 2013, at age 84, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She will be lovingly remembered by her spouse Hilario Marquez, her children Lina (Joey), Loida (Lito), Jose Papa, Mimie (Don), Lannie (Martin), grandchildren Mark (Jill), Marvin (Diane), Paolo, Angelo, AJ, Adrian, Gabie, Em, Mathew, and Alexis, and great-grandchildren, Azieah, Skye, Khyle, and CC. She was predeceased by her son Alejandro, her mother Emiliana, and father Jose. She was born, and grew up in Imus, Cavite, Philippines. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and being with her grandkids. Her strong faith in God and positive outlook in life was a guiding light to her family. She was a very loving, generous, and kind wife, mother, and friend. Lamay will be held on March 23 and 24 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Funeral Mass and a celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, at St. Peter's Church, 748 Keewatin Street, with Rev. Msgr. Enrique Samson presiding. Interment and reception will follow at Thomson "In the Park" Cemetery and Funeral Home.
