EVA MCCULLOUGH (nee KARPICK) Eva McCullough, age 86, passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, surrounded by her children. She is the last remaining member of her family being predeceased by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband Gerald, to whom she had been a devoted wife. Eva grew up in The Pas, trained as a nurse there, and moved to Winnipeg to begin her working career. She met her future husband Gerald at the Polo Park Golf Course, and it was love at first sight. Since they discovered that they shared the same birthday and year, they decided to share the same wedding day and had 58 wonderful years together! Eva had a long career as a nurse, working at the Grace Hospital and retired from Heritage Lodge Nursing Home. Eva's passions were her family: she was a devoted wife, mother and Nana. You could always count on her for help when you called, she was kind, caring and will be missed. Left to mourn are her children, Tim, Ken (Cheri), Kathleen, Sharon (Ed) McLellan, Linda (Kerry) Hampton, her grandchildren Lindsey (Ashby), Jenna, Cale, Lisa, Jeremy, Stephan (Alyssa), Breanne, Dawn (Ray), Tyler, and her great-grandchildren, Liam and Peyton. There will be no formal service as per her request. Funeral arrangements in care of Hemauer Funeral Home, The Pas, Manitoba. www.HemauerFuneralHome.com
