HECTOR R. MUNOZ 1933-2013 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hector R. Munoz on April 23, 2013 in Victoria, B.C. a few days before his 80th birthday. Hector is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ana, and their children, Ximena, Maria Soledad, Carmen, Rafael, Maria Rebeca, Francisco Javier, Maria Angelica, Hector, Maria Paz, Pablo and Maria del Pilar. Hector leaves behind 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by an older brother, a younger sister and numerous nieces and nephews. Hector was a man for others. He was especially dedicated to his family of which he was always very proud. Throughout his life, Hector overcame many and major challenges with intelligence, effort, perseverance, with Ana by his side and always with a sense of humour. His time on earth will not be forgotten. His example and his values will live on in all of us who had the fortune to have known him. Cremation and a private family gathering are planned. For those who wish, donations to organizations that help those suffering from Parkinson's disease would be appreciated.
