DENISE DUPUIS (née DELORME) With profound sadness we announce the passing of Denise Dupuis on July 2, 2013. She is predeceased by her husband Claude Dupuis. She leaves to mourn her children: Alphonse (Susan), Camille (Lynn), Claudette (Roger), Aline, Irene (Gilles), Brunel (Angela) and Emma; as well as numerous brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. Denise was born in St. Joseph, MB in 1928. She married Claude Dupuis in 1952 and together raised a family of three boys and four girls. She was a homemaker and talented artisan. She enjoyed quilting, weaving, sewing, cake decorating as well as many other crafts. She was a square dancing and line dancing enthusiast until the very end. Denise will be greatly missed by all who knew her well. Her kids and grandkids were the light of her life, which was evident in the way that she loved and supported them throughout the years. Mom / Memère will always be remembered for the many quilts and crafts she created and passed along to her loved ones. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Saint-Norbert Parish.

J'ai eu la chance de rencontrer Mme Denise quelque temps après la mort de mes parents. Elle les connaissais du Club Amical, à Saint-Adolphe, où les gens des alentours allaient dîner et se divertir les jeudis. I did not know Denise as well as I would have liked to! I know she totally blew me away! She at her age can chop a pile of wood way faster than any of us young folk! I've enjoyed the stories we've shared and always felt like I was one of your kids. You've been a great blessing in my life & I'm sure going to miss you. Denise shared her creative passion with hundreds of visitors to the centennial edition of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, Calgary Stampede 2012. In the process she touched all of our lives greatly.
