My late wife Bea-Hollands Rogers told me many stories of how kind and helpful Murray and Evelyn were to her when she first moved to Clandeboye and started market gardening. We were so sorry to read of the deaths of Evelyn and Murray. I worked with Evelyn for many years. She was a very compassionate nurse. She treated patients and co workers with a very caring manner and was a credit to the nursing profession. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time. I was blessed, on a few occasions, to visit with Evelyn and Murray and enjoy a good cup of tea and conversation. It was evident in the way they spoke of their family that they loved them and were proud of them. I am grateful that I was given the opportunity to know them, however briefly, and they will be missed, say for the happy memories they leave with us all. To the family my prayers are with you. - Posted by: Darlene Barrett (Friend of Bill McAulay) on: Jul 27, 2013
