Since our Mazatlan days, we have kept in touch by phone and Skype. We shall miss you dear friend. I was a student of Mr. Touchette from about 1980-84 at Buchanan Elementary. My remembrance of him was a teacher who presented as a strict, no nonsense task master but that was just a front for a truly kind, wise cracking and funny caregiver to his students. There was never a student that got a one up on Mr. Touchette his razor sharp wit always came out on top of any heckling of his pronounced accent. When I attend gatherings of other Buchaneers, Mr Touchette is always brought up fondly and in funny stories. Deepest condolences to his family and thank you for sharing him with all his students over the years, - Posted by: Christina Corcoran (Student) on: Oct 12, 2013
