AURELE JOSEPH DE MONTIGNY (Formerly of St. Boniface) Born in Ste. Anne, MB on May 28, 1929. Aurele died after a lengthy illness on October 14, 2013 in Edmonton, AB. Aurele is survived by his wife May, children Philip, Lucille (Marcel) and Laurie, grand-children, Stephen, Paul, Cameron, Alexandra. Predeceased by his beloved grandson, Christopher Pitre. Cremation has taken place and private interment will follow.

  • I was saddened to hear of Uncle Aurele's passing. He was my Godfather and special to me. I remember at my wedding dance, when all of mom's brothers got up and said things about me, he stood up and said some really nice things that I never forgot. I am glad that we had a really good visit with him in 2000, things were still pretty good then, most of my family was still here.
