With deepest sympathy in the passing of Lawrence. As a classmate attending Hodgsonville school in earlier years and being one of the Stadfeld clan, I have many recollections of his entertaining sense of humour, his jokes, stories, and antics! There was always a beaming smile and hearty grretings, a friend to all! He will be missed by all who knew him! May you rest in peace Lawrence! Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time! - Posted by: June [ Stadfeld ] Hock of Vernon, B.C. (classmate and neighbor) on: Nov 12, 2013

Lawrence was part of our childhood memories as we grew up on the Stadfeld farm. Lawrence was full of fun and pranks. I remember him coming over on Saturday nights to watch "Hockey Night in Canada" with my Dad and brothers Barry and Ray, as we had the first tv in our area. Lawrence, Rest in Peace. Our sympathies to your family in their loss. - Posted by: Sharron (Stadfeld) Campbell, Ottawa Ontario (Hodgsonville neighbour (60's era)) on: Nov 09, 2013

Sorry to hear about Lawrence passing to the other side. I was just a young girl, but he sure was an entertaining fellow. Will never forget him roaring by on his John Deere tractor or the fun we had skidooing with him behind hanging onto a mattress. Rest in peace. Our sincere condolences to Darlene & family. Lawrence was a very caring person and we remember how well he looked after Uncle Pete. Because of distance we only got to see each other at planned get-togethers with some of the family. There we enjoyed a meal together with relatives. This was a very special time for us. We found out today of Lawrence's passing, and due to circumstances are unable to attend the funeral. Lawrence was a good person, he will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. - Posted by: Gordon and Audrey Holmes (cousin) on: Nov 06, 2013
