Marie Therese passed away peacefully on November 6, 2013. Marie Therese was born in Wervik, Belgium on June 20, 1922. She came to Canada as a war bride in 1945 and settled in Portage La Prairie. Marie Therese was predeceased by her husband Peter Daniel Wilson, November 11, 1996. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Robert and Tracy Wilson and grandsons Cory and Daniel Wilson. She met "The love of her life" Pete in Belgium, during the Second World War. "There will be one poppy less in Flanders Field" At the wish of Marie Therese, there will be no funeral.
