ANNE RAY MEROZ December 6, 1950 - October 28, 2013 Anne Ray Meroz, passed away suddenly the morning of October 28, 2013, at Seven Oaks General Hospital, at the age of 62. Born December 6, 1950 in Montreal to Issie and Rose Yanofsky she was youngest of two children. She graduated from the Montreal General Hospital School for Nursing in 1969. On December 21, 1974 Anne married the love of her life, Shlomo Meroz in Montreal's Shomrim Laboker Synagogue. They moved to Winnipeg in 1978 where their daughter was born and raised. Anne was a modest, warm, loving woman with unrivalled compassion and was adored by all who knew her. She will be remembered as a selfless wife, mother and friend who was always loving and gentle. She is survived by her husband Shlomo Meroz, daughter Michal Meroz, and her brother Norman Yanofsky. May her soul be bound up in the bond of eternal life.
