RUTH LUNDMAN Ruth Elizabeth Lundman died peacefully on November 10, 2013 at Village at Mill Creek in Kelowna, BC. She was the beloved wife of Theodore (Ted) Lundman who predeceased her in November, 1989. She is survived by her daughter Janis Lundman of Montreal; her son Laurie Lundman, his wife Kate Lundman, her granddaughters Amanda and Sarah Lundman of Summerland and her grandson Tayler Lundman, his wife, Chantal and her great-grandson, Jackson of Ottawa. Ruth was born June 3, 1919 in Winnipeg where she grew up and graduated high school. She married Ted right after the Second World War and they soon moved out west to British Columbia. They eventually settled in Calgary where she raised her two children and had a career in retail sales. She and Ted eventually retired to British Columbia where they enjoyed fishing, gardening and golf. Ruth's generosity of spirit, sense of humour and loving nature touched many lives. The family would like to thank the staff at Village at Mill Creek and Liz Veach for their loving and dedicated care. A celebration of Ruth's life will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Town Hall at Village at Mill Creek, 1450 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer's Society.
